Mountain Buggy’s legacy began in 1992, with a father's need to create a buggy with all terrain agility; to enable him to enjoy the New Zealand mountain trails with his baby. So with precision engineering, he crafted the foundations of Mountain Buggy’s all terrain platform.

This really is a beautiful buggy with high quality craftsmanship in all elements that you can see, feel and use.  It feels very premium, sturdy and durable plus has a life flat option which is useful for young babies.  (Not for running with under 6 months of age mind you!)  There are so many uber premium cool features to this buggy that we could bore you to sleep listing them all. 

Key point to note are that it has a swivel front wheel making it urban friendly.  But the option to lock it making it suitable for running AND a handbrake which is very rare on swivel wheel options.  Extras like this explain the slightly higher price point because they have really tried to think of everything you might need.  Like magnetic peek-a-boo flap for silent viewing of your child. (#genius)  2 bottle holders which come free, one handed fold and all the parts can be removed for cleaning!  Also has a retractable leg extention for the comfort of a toddler, not seen on any other model in the market. It’s of average weight for an off road buggy in this category, 12.9kg.  But the wheels are super easy to pop off so definitely do that before you load it into the boot.

Another unique element is the 5 point buckle free harness.  Designed to be easier for the parent… but the jury is still out on that one.  The sun canopy can unbutton in order ot be pushed forwards and cut out a low sun.  The 16 inch wheels give great traction off road and stability at speed but as an added bonus the lovely folks at Mountain Buggy include FREE 12 inch rear wheels too!  SO you can have clean urban wheels and then a dirty pair too!

It’s suitable for newborn to 4/5 years, or maximum seat load of 25kg.  Plus it's globally safety certified and comes in 3 great colours - Solus, Graphite and new for 2018, Onyx.  (An all black with some textured effect's to sections)  A 1 year warranty is comes as standard.
